SASUKE

Why... although you got into casual speech during the second time,
you're gradually starting to use polite speech again.
SASUKE

NARUTO

NARUTO

That's what they'd say.
SASUKE

Romi-chan is blood type AB.
SASUKE
Yes, that's right.
NARUTO
So she called us "Perverts! Perverts!" because of that.
By the way, I like people of type AB.

At that time the director was like, "Excuse me... I mean, can we
all get ready now?"
And she was still like, "You guys, get over there!"

We were supposed to be working but it became like children fighting

There are a lot of scenes which you have to do a lot of things in.

But Sasuke doesn't really have a dark or good side.
He's been like that from since the start.

He's rather serious.
SASUKE

NARUTO

But what kind of non-seriousness am I comparing him to?

SASUKE

NARUTO
Now that's a tough nut to crack.
He can say serious and non-serious things at the same time but once
you're caught by him that's it.
SASUKE
Well, even if he doesn't say it with bad intention it just somehow...
it feels like he does it so easily?
The way you say things...
Then, the way he ad libs, or when he's at the studio...
When he takes a break...
It's just like he completely doesn't worry about it.
NARUTO
Now let's talk about Non-tan.
Non-tan, he's really great.
I think he understands the world of NARUTO better than anyone else.
Sometimes you'd bring the manga along to the studios, right?
SASUKE
The original work? Yes...
NARUTO
So when we get the script,
"Hm... wait, this conversation is a bit different..."
Non-tan is always the first one to notice whether something is different.
Whenever the anime director comes and asks,
"Excuse me, do you know what is actually happening in this part?"
And who does he ask?
Non-tan.
In other words, when we have no Sasuke in the studio, everybody's stuck.
SASUKE
But well... when you like, get the videos to watch before you start
recording...
You just feel like...
Hm! I want to read this part again in the original work!
Then when you start reading... three volumes, four volumes...
NARUTO
You just get going!
SASUKE
Yes... and then you realise, oh no! It's already so late!
NARUTO
Woah! We're usually surrounded by manga then, that means!
SASUKE

So you just start reading it...
And because you're constantly doing the voicing, like, every week...
Somehow you just get overly engrossed in the reading.
NARUTO
I think that's a really great study attitude.
SASUKE

I just get involved and can't stop reading.
NARUTO

Then, well... one more question!
What does Non-tan need during AFUREKO sessions?
Something that you definitely need, like the Three Sacred Weapons. Like,
"I must have this, this and that!"
Of course, first of all you need the script.
SASUKE
Hm... what do I need?
Well, basically... I just need to... be myself, and... do, the role?
For the recording...
So... well, I'd need water and a ball-pen, something like that?
NARUTO
That's true.
For me, I'd need water and a ball-pen, and then I need hard candy.
SASUKE
Hard candy?
Ah, yes, I often see you licking hard candy.
NARUTO

Speaking of which, you don't really eat candy, do you?
SASUKE
... I don't...
Well when the recording takes a little break,
I'd always see you licking candy.
But I can't do that.
If the taste gets into my organs... you know? Then I'd keep noticing
it's there.
And, like, after you eat or start licking candy?
It becomes a lot easier to breath, right?
So, like, even if you're not talking much,
you know... your saliva starts flying around as well.
NARUTO
Oh my gosh, I never noticed at all.
SASUKE
So, as much as possible, please try not to eat sweet things when you're
doing a recording, okay?
NARUTO
Oh no oh no oh no...
I'm starting to look like the bad guy here now so,
well, th-that was!
